Vintage Club Association of Naperville

About Us

The land that Vintage Club Association of Naperville is located on was once owned by a farmer named Walter Berger, born in 1887. Walter farmed this land in Naperville. County records show that as far back as 1931, Walter was allowing the City of Naperville rights to run utilities on his properties in order to support the growth of our town. The last actions county records show were of Walter Berger selling much of his land in 1965, before he passed away in 1967. Current land records of this area still refer to the lots as being part of the "Walter Berger Subdivision."

Aerial photographs of this land show farming fields back in 1956. The only recognizable landmarks from the 1956 photograph are Route 59 and Ogden Avenue, with farming fields for miles in all directions. Aerial photographs from 1998 show the Vintage Club land remained undeveloped and full of trees. Many of those native trees remain here growing on our property at Vintage Club today.

In the early 2000’s this previous farmland was developed into a 60-unit set of condominium townhouses. The front brick exterior, raised multi-story units are similar in style to Chicago row homes. The Vintage Club units each have two or three bedrooms, all with their own interior attached two-car garage. All homes have a private, fenced front courtyard and second story back patios off the kitchen for easy grilling access. We are fortunate to have several large open spaces with many mature on trees surrounding all of our buildings.
